On Monday, January 5, 2015 all
students were issued an officail Jones Elementary Identification Badge
and lanyard. Students are expected to wear I.D. badges daily. If your
child has lost his or her badge, the cost is $5.00 to replace it. The
school bookkeeper, Ms. Scranton, accepts payments to replace badges
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the office. Orders
for replacement badges are placed every Friday.
Lost and Found
Does your child have something missing? Stop by our Lost and Found
We have an enormous amount of
student clothing in our Lost & Found located on the stage. Please
stop by during business hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) to collect your
child's lost clothing. All clothing not collected by Friday, March 6th
will be donated to Goodwill Industries.
Mesh of Clear Backpacks are Required
ISD requires all students to carry a clear or mesh backpack. Other
backpacks are not allowed in schools as a security precaution. The Jones
PTO has backpacks on sale on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 Noon. The
costs are mesh $12 and clear $10.
